Movieworks owns and operates 2 stores in Eastern Massachusetts. We sell and rent movies and videogames, and related merchandise. Ask anyone near Danvers or Brookline if there's a really good video store in town,we're pretty sure we'll be included (in the affirmative) in their answer.

In the realm of rental, we offer a much wider range of titles than our chainstore counterparts, in addition to the loaded New Release Walls  to which most rental customers have become accustomed. All in-store movie rentals are 6 days. We're a small organization, so management is never far from the 'front end', where customers voice their movie preferences, and let us know how they want to be treated.  Our selection of titles reflects that, and so does our service approach. 

We sell new and used movies and videogames. (we will post current stock  to this site daily.) Our pre-viewed titles are generally sold at 50% or less of current retail, and are warranteed 1 full yr. We 'spin off' 100s of previewed DVDs every week, because our aggressive stocking of rental titles results in big overstocks a few weeks after intial release. We like to sell them off quickly; our prices reflect that. Every previewed item is tested prior to shipment to ensure 100% defect-free play.

Our on-hand stock of new movies and games is very generous, and we have access to many,many 1000s more through a network of warehouses which ship daily for us.  We discount anywhere from 10%-40% off retail on these, and often can offer closeouts at even steeper savings.

We've been online sellers since 2000, using other people's auction and fixed-price web venues.  We use the U.S. Postal Service to ship , unless next day/2nd day shipping is required; for that we use Fedex.
